MISSION

“The mission of the Gate City Charter School for the Arts is to use an arts-integrated curriculum to educate all interested students in grades K-8, to produce graduates who excel in both academics and the arts and have the knowledge, creativity and inquisitive nature that foster a life-long love of learning."

What Parents are Saying

Gate City Charter School for the Arts is the best option for my child's learning. For many years we've been excited to join the community and our daughter has attended from kindergarten to her present second grade year. We consider ourselves fortunate to be a part of the school as they have a heart for healthy child development, not only educationally but socially and emotionally. This has been of utmost importance to our family and genuinely nurtured in this school. - Jacqueline, GCCSA Parent

Gate City is a creative, nurturing school where my son has  been able to thrive in. The teachers and staff are always focused on the individual needs of each student.  -Sarah, GCCSA Parent

Gate City has been a home away from home for my child. Being a special needs mom to an invisible disability can be tough, but Gate City makes it so that we don't feel alone. The teachers and staff are kind, understanding and patient; with not just the student but the parents as well. It is a welcoming environment where it feels as though we are just one big extended family. I recommend them to anyone looking for another education option for their children. They have been the biggest support for my child's education and well-being as whole and I couldn't be happier with our choice to join this community.  -Ashleigh, GCCSA Parent

Excellent school, and especially dynamic in response to the pandemic situation. Teachers (thank you Mr. McHugh and Ms. Cole!) have been supportive in helping us navigate the situation and they ensure we're doing the best possible with our son. Bringing our kid here was the best decision we've made for him yet. - Stacey, GCCSA Parent

We left Gate City due to the uncertainty of the pandemic. Moved to a different charter school only to find out how unique Gate City truly is. The kids come first within this school like no other. They make all feel accepted. My daughter always loves Gate City, she was just going through the motions at the other school. We came back with Gate City in January, best decision ever! So happy to see my little girl loving school again so much!

- Brenda, GCCSA Parent

The teachers and staff do a wonderful job creating a close knit community.  We feel very grateful our daughter has the opportunity to attend middle school in such an environment. - Justin, GCCSA Parent

Donate

As a public charter school in New Hampshire, the Gate City Charter School for the Arts receives per-pupil funding at less than half the state average for traditional public schools. Your donation will help our Board of Trustees ensure that our arts integrated curriculum leads to educational competency.  We have daily operating costs to meet to ensure our facilities are safe, inviting, and inspiring.  In addition, we need classroom materials, computers, arts supplies, and a teaching staff that is experienced, nurturing, and passionate about teaching the arts in education.  Your donation will help us to be the best for our students, our future!

Gate City Charter School for the Arts is a non-profit charitable organization registered with the NH Attorney General's Charitable Trust Unit.  We are a 501c3 tax exempt organization. On behalf of our students and staff, thank you for your tax deductible donation!
