Meet the Teacher

My name is Ms. Amanda, and while I may be a familiar face to many of you, this year I am excited to jump into a new role as Wellness teacher at Gate City! 

This year will be my fifth year with GCCSA as a parent, and my third year working with your sweet kids! One of my favorite things about GCCSA is the sense of community that is built here and I am thrilled to be able to get the chance to interact with each and every one of our students! 

I received my BA in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire and have spent many years working with children. 

I am a mom of two- both of whom attend GCCSA! Outside of school, I love spending time with my family and friends outdoors. We enjoy filling our days with hiking, biking, kayaking, and swimming, but I’m always down to beat any one of them at a board game!
