Meet the Teacher

I'm Caleb Swann, a fine art photographer with a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI). 

My artistic journey has taken me across the country, where I've had the privilege of exhibiting my work in numerous galleries nationwide. My photography is deeply influenced by the diverse landscapes and cultures I encounter during my travels.

When I'm not working at Gate City, I embark on adventures with my wife and our dog, constantly seeking new sources of inspiration. Traveling allows me to explore different environments and perspectives, which I incorporate into my work to create compelling visual narratives.

Beyond photography, I am passionate about making music, watching movies, hiking, reading, and gardening. These hobbies not only provide me with a creative outlet but also enrich my life and work, adding depth and variety to my artistic practice. My love for the intersections of art and technology continually drives me to experiment and innovate in my craft.
