Meet the Teacher

Mrs. Mulcahy

Hello families, welcome to first grade!

I am so excited to be entering my 5th year at Gate City Charter School. While this is only my 5th year here, I have been an educator for over 20 years.  I received my BA in Early Childhood Education at Plymouth State University in 2006, with a concentration in K-3rd grade. I have spent many of my teaching years working in early education, with ages 3-6.

My summers are spent as an assistant camp director working with children in kindergarten through high school.

When I am not teaching I am with my family.  Wesley in 6th grade and Roslyn in 10th. My husband Bryan works locally in Merrimack too, and lastly we have our crazy dog Coco.  Together we all enjoy hiking, camping, the beach and generally anything outdoors.

I am truly looking forward to spending this school year helping your children learn and grow!
