Meet the Teacher

Ms. Juliana

Juliana Harrer is from Andover, MA and recently graduated from Montserrat College of Art in Beverly with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. Her concentration was in Art Education, Interdisciplinary Art, and Entrepreneurship in the Arts. Her primary goal as an Art Teacher is to inspire young students to become life long creative learners and explorers.

Juliana had a favorite Art Teacher in high school that inspired her to

teach art as well, thus pursuing her passion. She incorporates interdisciplinary approaches in her teaching practice to reach all

learning interests and needs and has a strong philosophy of bringing

students outdoors to observe the beauty of nature as part of the arts

curriculum.

During her free time Juliana enjoys painting, photography, jewelry

designing, baking, practicing and teaching yoga, singing in church

choir, and traveling to new places with family and friends. She notices

and appreciates the natural world wherever she goes and incorporates

many of her observations in her artwork. Juliana has a small business

where she sells her jewelry at local gift shops. She has also exhibited

work around the North Shore in Massachusetts and has recently

exhibited her work in New York City. She has a dream of owning her

own studio/gallery someday.
