Meet the Teacher

Hello GCCSA Families!

I am excited to be starting my 10th year as part of the Gate City community!  As a mom of three I have had the opportunity to be a parent, a volunteer and the school's librarian. 

I received my Master's degree in Education from the University of New Hampshire and have spent the last 20 years working in schools and public libraries. This year we will read lots of books, have optional reading challenges, explore the library and meet real authors through online author visits.  I look forward to seeing our returning students and meeting all of our new families!
