Meet the Teacher

Mrs. Simoneau

I have degrees in English Language Arts and Elementary Education, but I’ve found the best education I’ve had is working with students. I’ve been working with kiddos from toddlers to high school students for 14 years.

There are so many things to love about teaching, but a few of my favorite things are helping children understand how they learn best and witnessing the “AHA” moment when they understand something for the first time.

I have 4 children and one very spoiled grandson, who loves our dog, Hailey, passionately, and a wonderfully supportive husband to whom I’ve been together for 32 years. I also have four very smart cats – Marbles, Toothless, Rose and Reese, a bunny - Bell, 2 ball pythons – Nagini and Pandora, and a tank full of cute Tetra fish. Most of my animals are rescues… I have a deep passion for helping animals in need.

When I’m not taking care of my animals, I LOVE to read, do puzzles, go fishing with my husband, and play with my grandson. We have epic battles with superheroes where he is always the victor… he is only four after all 😊
